New Balance Celebrates One Year on Oxford Street

Under the 'young(ish) creative' umbrella, I'm one of those slash-career women. One day I'll be writing for another publication, the next day might see me in front of the camera for a brand and the day after that sees me behind a camera for a friend working with another brand. The weekend comes and I'll be djing somewhere. It's wild and I wouldn't swap it for the world.

Last weekend, New Balance had me doing two in one for their flagship store first anniversary. A few hours behind the decks and then a couple of hours 'content-creating'.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love how unconventional New Balance is. It's not the obvious option for some but time and time again New Balance shines through on design and performance.

The store makes for the easiest shopping performance. It's spread across three floors, which are bright and spacious. Upstairs is solely dedicated to women and currently is sporting an entire wall of the new J. Crew x New Balance collection – I would have loved to have taken it all home with me.

The anniversary event was a Saturday to remember; it was a good time with some great people, a solid workout for some and New Balance handed out loads of gifts and prizes throughout the day, which made for a lovely vibe throughout the store.

Happy birthday, NB!
