Lifestyle | Paris With My Little Box

If the prospect of a trip to Paris can't get you out of bed at 5am, then there's nothing that can. Last month I found myself a little bleary eyed at St Pancras, hopping on to the Eurostar bright and early with some of the lovely ladies from Modus and 6 other bloggers on a trip to Paris to visit My Little Box HQ.

My Little Box aren't just your regular subscription beauty box. Every month a variety of must have beauty products - including something from their own beauty line, fashion and lifestyle accessories, their magazine that's full of gorgeous illustrations and other surprises.

We arrived at the most delectable townhouse; it was as if we had just stepped into a My Little Box IRL. First on the agenda was, of course, le petit dejeuner - the team had laid out a wonderful spread of pastries, fruit and we even had little biscuits in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, which were utterly adorable.

The juice/fitness trend that has taken London and New York by storm over the past year or so is only just beginning to hit Paris. There was to be no steak frites on the menu as we headed to Paris' hippest little vegan joint. A different juice was offered with every course and unlike most lazy lunchtimes I've spent in the French capital, I came out neither drunk nor delirious from overeating.

To end the day, we were taken by old school 2CVs to a boat on the Seine - cue many renditions of Lonely Planet's I'm On A Boat. We sipped back wine and speculated about the high life as we zoomed past tourists on their 100-person tour boat, soaking up sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame from afar.

It was a whirlwind day that was over all too quickly and before I knew it, I was back were we started at St Pancras, hopping in a taxi back to Dulwich wondering whether I'd actually been in Paris just a few hours earlier or whether it'd all been a dream.

Thanks so much to Modus and My Little Box for taking me!

Its just me !! said...

Sounds like a dreamy day 💛
