LFW Diary | SS15 | Day 5 #TalesofmyLFW

Warehouse jumpsuit, shoes, T-shirt and jewellery*

With Day 5 of London Fashion Week came a very exciting project. I took over the Warehouse Instagram, posting my #talesofmyLFW highlights for the day.

I began my day with sprucing my nails but luckily I didn't need to organise what I was going to wear as I had already been into Warehouse and experience their VIP service (for the second time - so lucky!) to kit me out in Warehouse head to toe for day 5.

Warehouse has launched a fantastic blog 'Tales of The City', which the modern women's go to guide for navigating the daily trials and style tribulations of urban city life. It was such a pleasure to get involved with a brand who have developed a unique way of reaching their consumers for the long term.

My only show of the day was Ashish so, it was a fairly relaxed affair as far as London Fashion Week days go. I headed to The Apartment for yet another Blow styling session and then out to shoot some street style before heading off to the Topshop show space.

The Ashish show is the highlight of every season. Slobbish tracksuits that once might be found at home came in the sequinned variety and fell onto studded heels lined with fur. Jeans paid homage to our celebrity obsessed culture and were embellished with Kimye, One Direction and Miley. Winnie Harlow, a former America's Next Top Model Contestant, led the pack, giving a cheeky kiss at the end of the runway towards the photographers. The collection and the models screamed seduction met with glitter and sass.

The beauty looks were just as outstanding; eyes were barely there because they were so heavily covered with crystal gems. Tinsel extensions were woven into the models' hair and even their nails were encrusted with jewels and glitter.

Somewhat disgracefully, the novelty of an all black casting for the show could not be ignored.

After Ashish, I headed for food at Gourmet Burger Kitchen before home to rejuvenate for the evening's activities at The Edition, where Suitcase magazine were throwing an end of London Fashion Week party. I ditched the tee from under the culotte jumpsuit, threw on some lipstick and I was ready to go - what an evening it was!
