I don't know about you but many a night was spent with a bottle of Strongbow in a friend's basement and Klaxon's Golden Skan blasting in the background when we were growing up. Almost a decade on from the band first causing a frenzy in the music industry, and following the Klaxon's making their new album Love Frequency available to stream online, the band have announced a "3D tour", which will kick off in October. I've got two tickets to a reader for their show in London on November 4th!
In the video above, you can watch Klaxon's touring firm SJA 3D Printing, exploring prototypes of a 3D printed guitar in preparation for their tour where everything used on stage, including amps, guitars, microphones and lighting, will be 3D printed. Quite the innovators, aren't they? Branson should give them a ring to get that glass-bottomed plane printed.
Klaxons are playing:
Norwich Waterfront (October 25)
Leeds Cockpit (26)
Glasgow O2 ABC (27)
Manchester Academy 3 (28)
Brighton Concorde 2 (30)
Bristol Thekla (31)
Birmingham O2 Academy 2 (November 1)
Nottingham Rescue Rooms (2)
London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (4)
You can enter to win two tickets using the form below until 9am Friday. The competition is for UK based readers only. O2 customers can get priority tickets to Klaxons from 9am Wednesday 11th June. General release tickets go on sale 11am Friday.
