LFW | AW14 | Holly Fulton

There are two queens that rule print during London Fashion Week; Mary Katrantzou and Holly Fulton. While Mary Katrantzou may fuse art and fashion together, Holly Fulton is renowned for her focus on architecture and landscape.

Taking note from Fritz Lang's Metropolis, skirts and dresses featured pops of urban metropolis print. Tones were more muted than ever before; pale blues married against camel and bronze luxe fabrics made for a much more sophisticated Fulton woman this season.

As the show drew to a close, flashes of crimson, layered with delicate black tulle and embellished with flowers, heightened the collection's femininity. Fulton appeared arm in arm with fresh-faced, model of the moment Rosie Tapner, taking a lap of the catwalk to a suitably emphatic applause.
