This week has been a hectic one. Every now and again you need to find that functional outfit that gets you through various situations with ease to avoid running home to change in between. While I've done so much of the latter this week that the guys who work at my closest station think I'm utterly mad, I had a day jam packed with diverse events but with some Nike's to dress it down for the day, which I threw in my DKNY rucksack in the evening, this all white ensemble with a few black accents saw me through.
I'll let you in on a secret too - the Topshop 'clutch' is actually a make up bag costing a mere £8. The faux ostrich leather that it is fabricated from is worryingly similar to the real ostrich leather of my DKNY rucksack (see that here). They make a great fit together and for £8, why the hell not.
Don't be fooled by the title of this post; if anything it's the complete opposite reflection of life right now. I began my MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins this week and began to discuss some exciting prospects for the blog so hang tight, there's good stuff coming!
Rundown is however the newest track from London twosome Pale who are fairly new to the music scene but have been received rapturously. With a little help from Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw, Pale (not to be confused with electronic producer Pále) began recording at the beginning of this year, constructing tracks with somewhat familiar vocals met with strikingly modern production creating something intriguing. If you fancy seeing these guys live they are headlining London's Seabright Arm's on October 29th.
