REN V-Cense Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial*
Meet beauty cult favourite REN's newest product for Spring, the V-Cense Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial. A couple of weeks ago I headed to the Soho Hotel to preview the V-Cense line, which includes the V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream (the Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream reborn) and the V-Cense Youth Vitality Day Cream as well as 1 Minute Flash Facial.
The V-Cense Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial is a gel that you pump out of the bottle from the grey lid up top. It includes boswellic acid, magnesium and stabilised Vitamin C, which when combined relax the muscles, fight facial fatigue, increase skin elasticity and generally energise and boot the radiance of you skin.
The method of application is really simple. You apply an even coat to the face and neck and wetting the hands to add water to the gel, which activates the Vitamin C contained in the product, and gently massage your face. After leaving the product for a minute, you then rinse it off throughly.
So, does it work?
Essentially, yes. I've really enjoyed using the Flash Rinse gel over the past couple of weeks. The gel smells sherberty sweet but still manages to have that fresh and pure scent that I've grown to expect from REN and leaves your skin smelling wonderful. After rubbing in the minuscule exfoliating grains that you can feel in the gel, my skin was instantly smoother and certainly revitalised. I didn't really notice any major difference concerning a more even tone of complexion though but I wouldn't rule out buying the product because of that. The speed of the facial makes it one of the fastest around and can easily fit in to any routine, which I absolutely love.
At £30 for 75ml, REN's Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial doesn't come cheap but it's not a huge amount to dish out for the revitalising boost. It's a little way off but be sure to mark March 2014 in your calendar!
REN's V-Cense Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial with water activated Vitamin C launches in Liberty, Space NK, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer March 2014.
