So here's another monochrome shopping edit for you - I'm sorry, I just can't help it. My parents are on the cusp of their emigration to Australia so, when I return from New York, I have to sort through all of my things to try cut my belongings in half so there's any chance they'll fit into whatever overpriced and undersized apartment we end up with back in London.
I've such urge to throw away everything which isn't a shade of black, white or grey. There's something so effortless about dressing in such neutral colours. Lack of colour and pattern lends more attention to the true aesthetics of pieces such as the fabric and texture.
I like the idea of closing my eyes, reaching into my wardrobe and being able to match whatever I blindly choose. Cue a huge blog sale; keep your eyes and ears open for that.
