London Fashion Week: Zoe Jordan AW13

Zoe Jordan AW13
MS MR's Hurricane soft melodic tones and sensual voice was the perfect opener to London Fashion Week easing us into the whirlwind of the next five days.

Win inspiration drawn from post-modernist masters Robert Venturi, James Sterling and Frank Gehry, BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Zoe Jordan continued on from SS13 with a similarly monochrome palette, leaving us to focus on the cleans lines and architectural shapes of the collection. Flashes of colour were seen beneath layers of Tuscan sheepskin, buttersoft lappa leathers and metallic woven jacquard.

Zoe Jordan's offering this season may not have been the most innovative but it's certainly wearable with its billowing silhouettes and minimalist colour palette. I'd be happy to see the entire collection walk straight off the catwalk and into my wardrobe.

The show was even more charming as everyone in the first few rows received goody bags, rather than just the front row! Sorry for the lack of photos; I spent most of the day trying to navigate a new camera before finally giving up and using my iPhone for PPQ!
