Imagine a pair of jeans that not only prevent that but a jeans that moisturise your legs with aloe vera and essential oils whilst you wear them, leaving your legs softer and more moisturised than when you put them on in the first place - Wrangler have created this jeans for SS13.
I was invited down to the Wrangler showroom, a quirky space with, as you'd expect, jeans and pictures of Lizzy Jagger everywhere you turn, to preview their newest range of jeans; the Denim Spa collection. Of course, I managed to forget my camera card so wasn't able to capture the magic of the event but what I can't describe in pictures, I'll try my best to describe in words.
I begun my visit to Wrangler with grabbing a few nibbles and a drink - considering it was early afternoon, I veered away from the wine, catching up with the Surgery press team before being treated to a Cowshed manicure!
The presentation then began and we were told how Wrangler came up with the idea, and then subsequently how the Denim Spa jeans came to creation. The denim used to create skinny jeans has evolved over the past five or so years, becoming increasingly softer and if anything, less denim-like. Wrangler wanted to take their new range to the next level; not only did they want super soft jeans, they wanted to incorporate a moisturising property to their jeans - something never to have been done before. Wrangler approached a cosmetic factory in France and together they created a moisturising agent to weave into their denim fabric.
We all left the studio with our a pair of Wrangler Denim Spa jeans to try out for ourselves. I'm not much of a jeans wearer but I'd happily live in this pair day in, day out. Unfortunately, the moisturising agent only lasts up to 15 days but Wrangler are thinking of releasing a top up spray to leave your legs feeling softer for longer.

It's a good idea, but it does seem a bit pointless if it only lasts 15 days!? Hopefully figure out a top up. x

What an insanely wonderful concept! Need to get my hands on a pair of these, (and -it would seem- INTO them... so dry in winter... so very dry...) The top-up spray would be great but maybe it'd be an excellent novelty if the effect only lasted the initial time and then wore off... I just don't know...
ReplyDeleteWhat an intresting idea! I could imagine it working slightly with a brand like Wrangler, but I recently saw tights in Matalan that claimed to be moisturising, and I though "Nahh that won't work!"
