Serge DeNimes pop up

So I've got a couple of apologies to make with this one. Firstly the Serge DeNimes pop up store is no longer open. Secondly the quality of the photos isn't great - my camera conveniently ran out so had to use my iPhone when I went along for a blogger's breakfast at the Serge DeNimes pop up. I unfortunately missed the launch party as I was in Germany so I was glad to go along to see the space.

I have to admit that even though I've seen some of Oliver Proudlock's artwork before, I was a little skeptical of what to expect but I needn't have been. It was a big open space, below Wolf & Badger on Dover Street, with a huge illustration at the back of the store, drawn during the launch party a few days earlier.

The pop up had this fresh feel to the visual arrangement that made it more interesting than anything I've seen recently; there were scraps of Ollie's mum's old denim scattered about and  prize pieces in glass boxes on show created an extremely artistic and unique vibe to the place.

The T-shirts, jumpers and hats were simple but they worked. I fell in love with a camo jumper and struggled leaving without it.

I don't watch Made In Chelsea these days and there's little that would make me want to but to use the show as a platform to launch something so creatively perfect is super smart. Ollie is so passionate about his collection and there's no doubt of the effort and hard work he put in on the details of the space. He's also recently launched a style blog to show off his sartorial delights, which are pretty spot on - it obviously doesn't hurt that he has such a pretty face either...
