Marina and the Diamonds at Baroque.

On Thursday night I headed to Baroque in Mayfair to watch an exclusive Marina and the Diamonds gig.

We were greeted with Hoxton Gin mojitos and, as always, wowed by Baroque's opulence. One of the best things about the venue is how small the crowd is watching the performance. There's an intimate feeling to every performance at Baroque that you just don't get with other venues.

Marina performed six tracks, including her newest How to be a Heartbreaker, which was absolutely incredible. Everyone was in awe of her outstanding vocal performance. Any expectations I had of Marina and the Diamonds' performance were fulfilled and more.

Marina had been dressed by UAL graduate and Mancunian designer Hasan Hejazi in a couple of dresses he had designed especially for the evening. I never realised quite how beautiful Marina is until Thursday. The intricately embroidered maroon gown obviously only enhanced her stunning features and figure.

After her performance, Marina changed into a shorted blue version of her previous gown and joined the rest of us in the club, indulging in a champagne tower.

It was such a wonderful night and thanks so much to Baroque for having us and Hoxton Gin for getting us suitably inebriated!
