When was the last time you did something for the first time? Probably longer ago than you expect, right? So many of us are stuck in habitual routines and plagued by our problems and worries, causing us to forget how little precious time we are given, especially how little youth.
Eastpak's new campaign draws upon spontaneity and ceasing the day. When Eastpak asked me to write a post surrounding the question, I decided that for the first time, I would ask some of my friends and family to contribute to my blog and tell me when they last did something new for the first time.
It was a club I'd heard so much about for so many years. The myths and legends of the hedonism inside were almost as famous as the quality of the music played. I was unsurprisingly shaking with nerves as I was in the queue with Sven the bouncer in front of me. Luckily he let us through the doors and we were in! It was everything that you hope for when you think of Berghain. The music, the sex, the drugs; a temporary autonomous zone where you want to be free to be anything you want to be and do anything you want to do. - James Bennett
I went to a foreign country on my own for 3 days - I've never done that before. I felt a bit nervous and unsure but in the end it was actually fine. - Hattie Blake
Every year I wanted to go to Party in the Park but am always out of the country. This year I was lucky enough to get a ticket from a friend for my birthday! I had no idea who was playing or if I would know any of the music. I went hoping to have fun. It was a great day out, from Jesse J too Tom Jones, I laughed all day long - it was so great seeing such an eclectic group of people. I felt so wonderful after my day out! - Loretta Meaton
I wore a bin bag as a raincoat for the first time at Outlook... - Rose Nisbet

I ate a fig for the first time a few weeks ago on hol in cyprus and my mouth wasn't sure what to make of it...it was fairly disgusting because the texture is something between a plum and a pomegranate and my mouth had a bit of a spasm as a result! - Felix Clarke
On August 10th I had my very first jump from 10 meters onto a balloon - I don't know exactly how to describe it but it was good. I've experienced a free fall before but on rides it's something different. Here you could see the whole area of the festival and people looked so small. Without being tied or attached to something you run and jump into nowhere and the feeling...mmm, the next thing you know, you are deeply sunk into the white balloon. - Barbara Malukaite
Moved to a new city I guess. Daunting at first and missed close friends a lot but once I started working there you get used to it! Even though I got robbed on the metro and was hopping from hostel to friend's places for a week, now im sorted I feel a lot happier and finding my way around and seeing and doing things I would never imagine of getting the chance to do! - Richard Quinn
The other day... I bought a samsung phone. Never owned a samsung phone before. So out of my element. So 2002. - Sophie Garrett
I started colour coordinating my underwear yesterday. - Sannita Hancock

It was a while back but I jumped off a bridge into a river because someone dared me to do it, I had nude underwear on and everyone in the pub thought I was naked! Also I went to a roller disco for the first time the other week and it was amazing! - Poppy Cholerton
I ate vegetarian haggis for the first time tonight. With peas. It was awesome. - Jo Curry
