London Fashion Week//Burberry Prorsum SS13.

The invite.

There's no hotter ticket than Burberry Prorsum during London Fashion Week and somehow I found myself with one this season.

Firstly there's the venue - Kensington Gardens is ridiculous. Thhe front row is always star-studded - Anna Wintour, Andy Murray, Dita Von Teese, Olivia Palmero and Harry Styles all squeezed in this time around. The models are the models of the moment, the ones who everyone wants to walk their shows. Right now those girls are Cara Delevigne and Jordan Dunn. They both obviously stormed the Burberry Prorsum catwalk today. And finally, there's the clothes themselves.

Burberry took note of our dire UK summers and are focus fell on outerwear. Trenches came in every colour and shape imaginable. Voluminous bomber jackets felt essentially more street than I've seen from Burberry before. Pencils skirts and well, basically knickers empowered the Burberry SS13 woman.

The collection was fundamentally a work of art and spectacular visually. There was no snow and no tears for the finale but instead Christopher Bailey sent a rainbow of metallic trench coats down the catwalk.
