The collaboration was born from long-term admiration and a mutual respect between the brand and the rapper who is always clean cut but casual. Professor Green joked "Quality was also key so from the fit to the fabric I’ve been annoyingly as meticulous as I am with my music with the clothes, just don’t go trying to kill a cobra in one of our tracksuits."
It wasn't your average fashion do. A catwalk show was held and then the party really began.
There was such a great mix of people. The drinks and conversation flowed into some serious shapes on the dance floor late into the night. It was so refreshing to see that Green stuck around until the end too. In between the drinking and dancing I didn't manage to take many photos though.
The collection is simple but effective. There's a utilitarian feel to the staple outerwear pieces that he's created. Green went with a honey badger logo that runs throughout the collection as well.
The Professor Green x PUMA collection will be available from ASOS, Footasylum from mid October 2012.
