Stila AW12 presentation & giveaway.

I've been raving about Stila ever since one of the girls at Modus showed me their Stay All Day eyeliner back this time last year at their press day. So, you can imagine how delighted I was to be able to attend their AW12 presentation last week. Stila's celebrity make up artist Sarah Lucero had been flown over from the States especially to give the presentation.

Sarah talked us through and demonstrated their new products for AW12; the first being their Stay All Day foundation & concealer. The brilliant thing about this new addition to their range is the two-in-one combination that it offers; the concealer is found in the lid of the foundation, accompanied by a mirror. From her demonstration on their model, I could see that the creamy foundation offered a flawless finish, with little effort needed. The wide range of 16 shades guarantees a foundation for your skin tone.

Also new in for Autumn is their Stay All Day liquid lipstick. We were given our own to take away with us from the event and since I've used it I can't imagine using any other lipstick. The wand eases total precision when you are applying the lipstick. The colour is bold and doesn't bleed or smudge on touch; it's also completely drink proof. 

Stila say it can last up to six hours but it lasted me at least eight. It does feel like you are literally painting your lips though. The formula is enriched with Vitamin E and avocado oil but it made my lips feel dry at first but it was a feeling I got used to very quickly.

My must have piece of make up, their Stay All Day eyeliner, is being released in white limited edition for Autumn too. From my experience with this product in black, I imagine the white will be a needed addition to my make up bag. The fine tip makes a smooth, fine, sharp line possible, even with the clumsiest of hands.

There's not too long to wait to get your hands on one either as all of Stila's AW12 range launches on August 20th.
