|Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo|
I have a lot of beauty and hair products so for me to run out of a product usually means it's something sort of special, cue a blog review of Batiste's XXL Volume dry shampoo.
I wash my hair daily so dry shampoo isn't something I ever really need but I thought I would try it more for the volume purpose as there's nothing worse than flat hair and I refuse to backcomb my hair.
Before I used this product I would try and create volume in my hair with my GHD's and hair spray but nothing ever lasted and within an hour or so my hair would go back to it's usual deflated self.
You can probably guess by now that this does work. You lift your hair and spray the product into your roots and you then massage your hair creating volume that lasts all night. You can create as little or as much volume as you like, depending how much of the spray that you use. I use a little, just to stop my hair from glueing itself around my face!

The XXL Volume Dry Shampoo does leave behind a residue though and you can certainly feel the product in your hair. In so many words, it doesn't make your hair feel clean like many other Batiste dry shampoo products do. If anything, the first thing I want to do the next morning is wash my hair to remove it. It makes my hair feel dry but maybe this is because I use it on vaguely clean hair - my hair does need washing every day though. It's a bit of a nightmare to brush through as well.
It isn't cheap for what it is; it retails at £3.99 in both Superdrug and Boots, which is more expensive than Batiste's other products.
