ASOS X B Store collection launch.

Capsule collaboration collections seem to be the 'in thing' at the moment. Stealing the shine from Liberty X Dr Martens (am I the only one who finds that bizarre?), the latest capsule collaborative effort comes from ASOS and cult boutique B Store.

The collection is made up of nine pieces, featuring two bold prints. The prints are exotic, and quite frankly, made me feel nostalgic for Summer.

I headed down to the launch party last night, which was hosted in-store, to sip a couple of Absolut cocktails and have a look at the new collection. The store itself is an interesting concept. B Store, set on Kingly street (the road the runs parallell to Carnaby) offers their own collection, complemented by regular installations by artists and designers.

The store collaborates seasonally with established names such as Liberty (is there anyone they haven't collaborated with?), Baracuta and Gloverall but their collaboration with a wholly online giant is a first for them. The collection's also a first for ASOS; their items only tend to see the inside of the warehouse, a shipping box and their excitable new owner, so previewing the pieces in the flesh before purchase makes for a weird but welcome change.

Prices range from £135 - £220 and are available to buy online and in store now.
