#LFW AW12: The soundtrack.

London Fashion Week wasn't just about the clothes. The music at fashion weeks around the world is much more important than you might think. It sets the tone of the entire show. Designers use lyrics, beats and rhythms that fit accordingly to what they are showing. There would be no sense in showing billowing, white dresses to Azealia Banks' 212 - that would work about as well as putting diesel in a petrol-run car. The music heightens the mood. It gets people tapping their toes and bopping along in their seats. Some of it I knew, some of it I didn't  - who knows how people coped before Shazam.
