Rugby Ralph Lauren tweed run

On 26th November, Ralph Lauren is holding their first ever Rugby Ralph Lauren Tweed Run in London. Athletic men in good clothes - I know you are thinking what I'm thinking!

Rugby is Ralph Lauren's younger, ‘preppy with a twist' collection, which launched in September in a new store in Covent Garden

The run is a 12-mile recreational bike ride around London, with riders dressed up in tweed. The aim of the cycle is to show how tweed can be young, cool and fashion forward. It brings together Ralph Lauren’s legacy of traditional tweed and heritage looks, but with Rugby’s streetwise twist.

Think photo ops, moustache trimming, a band playing and all of this topped off with breakfast! There will even be prizes for the best vintage bicycle, most dapper chap and most dashing dame

There is a charity angle - via the raffle tickets for a limited edition Pashley bike, a tombola, and the suggested £5 donation on registering - Ralph Lauren will be raising funds to benefit World Bicycle Relief; an organisation which, through their Bicycles for Educational Empowerment Program, provides 50,000 bicycles to improve rural Zambian children's access to schools/education.

Check out the Rugby Ralph Lauren website for more information. You can also see the New York run here.
