L'Occitane Christmas blogger event

I was invited to join L'Occitane at the Covent Garden store to celebrate Christmas early, with fellow bloggers, and to enjoy their Christmas products and some mulled wine. Naturally, as L'Occitane is a family favourite (my mum goes crazy for the stuff), I was delighted by the invite.

I was greeted by the overwhelmingly gorgeous scents of L'Occitane products as we entered the rustic basement of the store. We were treated to a fantastically detailed talk on their Christmas Gift Collection, which is as fabulous as expected.

Forced to make up my mind to which Christmas box I wanted to take home with me, I finally chose the Immortalle Gift Collection, which ironically against my baby face, is renowned for its essential oils that prevent ageing (surely you are never too young to worry about wrinkles?). I met Simon at the Modus press day the previous week and he had me rub and smell the Immortallle collection and it was sensational. The Precious Cream is so thick and luxurious. It honestly smells like you are rubbing flower petals into your face; I admit that sounds obscure but smell it and you will understand where I am coming from!

The packaging surrounding my mini-hamper is so decadent that you need not wrap the box itself, that is if you could bare to part with it to give it to someone else.

The Christmas Gift Collection is available for both men and women and can be bought online, or in your nearest L'Occitane boutique.
